The nearby village of Bradworthy has a wonderful, community feel, with a selection of shops including convenience store, post office, vets and hardware shop. The local pub has an array of real ales and tasty food menu. Venture further afield towards the Hartland Devon and Heritage Coast, with its rugged cliffs and powerful waves crashing against the rocks, or to Sandymouth Bay, with its golden stretch of sand or the several beaches of Bude including some great for surfing, dog walks aplenty and rockpools, coves and inlets for children of all ages to explore! Less than half an hour by car takes you to Clovelly, picture-perfect with its steep cobbled street, thatched cottages and beautiful harbour.
