Located just down the road from the popular coastal village of Instow, there is plenty to do and see during your stay. Instow is a pretty village with two shops, eateries and pubs, and all within easy walking distance. The wonderful beach with its lovely sand dunes is ideal for all ages and has its own appeal at most times of year. The town of Bideford is a short journey away, with a range of facilities, and a trip to Lundy Island can be organised from the quayside. Westward Ho! (3 miles) has a long stretch of sand and good surf. There is also an indoor swimming pool at Northam (2½ miles). The house is ideally located to explore either Exmoor to the east and its surrounding attractions, or to the west, there is the North Cornish/Devon coastline, with its excellent walking and hidden treasures, like Clovelly, Bucks Mill and Hartland Quay. The Big Sheep farm park, The Milky Way activity park, Dartington Crystal and RHS Rosemoor are other places of interest to visit. The Tarka Cycle Trail and footpath can be accessed from the village, which will ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
