As you first enter, you will find yourself in a handy lobby for storing shoe and coats, then through the traditional oak-braced latched door, you will enter the cosy living room with stunning beams, dining area with log burning stove. Visit the pretty town of Appleby, enjoy a tour of the castle or take a trip along the Carlisle to Settle Railway line which stops off in the town. The market town of Penrith is also just a short drive away for a great day out with lots of shops and restaurants.
