Spend your days exploring the sandy beaches, including Broadhaven and Barafundle Bay, or take a trip to the bustling tourist town of Tenby and take a boat ride over to Caldey Island, which continues the traditions of the Cistercian monks. The local restaurant is just a 3 minutes walk away below the cottage. Manorbier’s beautiful sandy beach is 10 minutes walk away from this holiday cottage. Please do not expect to launch your boat from here though! Dogs are welcome all year round. Manorbier has a favoured tearoom/cafe, gift shop and jovial public house plus a local shop supplying all your holiday needs. The cafe offers a charming place to enjoy a coffee or locally cooked fare. Manorbier is a hidden gem with a real holiday village feel with winding stone walled lanes and a lovely place to stroll.

The property offers a great base to explore the local area of Wiston and the town of Haverfordwest, which is around 7 miles away. Haverfordwest offers a range of year-round holiday attractions all lying within easy reach, including Broad Haven beach with its water sports, sands and rock pools, around 13 miles away. Dolphins can often be spotted in St Brides Bay and the coastal path is a must for walkers.
The property features a spacious open plan living space, with an electric fire, TV and DVD player for cosy nights in with a movie. The kitchen area has everything needed for preparing home cooked family meals, and the dining area provides a great place to catch up together over dinner after a busy day of exploring. The Cart Shed comfortably accommodates 5 guests over 2 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and a family room with a bunk bed and a single bed. There is also a wet-room with shower, and access to a shared utility room with freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The large shared garden features a lovely duck pond and seating area. The bespoke handcrafted kitchen with Belfast sink and slate work surfaces, really accentuate the farmhouse feel, while the oil fired traditional Aga, which runs from October to April (electric aga companion available all year), helps keep the space especially cosy.

Upstairs, find three beautifully appointed, comfortable bedrooms with luxury linens and the marshmallow-soft bedding are sure to give you a restful night’s sleep. Outside, there is ample space, furniture and BBQ for al-fresco dining and days spent basking in the summer sun. Lounge around on the private patio with the gorgeous array of pot plants or meander through the lawned gardens with a glass of wine or a good book.

Nearby there are a variety of restaurants and pubs should you wish to venture out, including two in the village which are only a short walk away. However, the popular resort of Tenby is just 5 minutes by car, while the lovely seaside towns of Saundersfoot and Manorbier are easily accessible from here too. What’s more, the playing field opposite is a great space for kids to run around, not that you’ll be lost for things to do, with beaches, family activities and plenty to keep you entertained only a few minutes from your doorstep.
