Spend your days exploring the sandy beaches, including Broadhaven and Barafundle Bay, or take a trip to the bustling tourist town of Tenby and take a boat ride over to Caldey Island, which continues the traditions of the Cistercian monks. You can also enjoy the country park which is less than a minute’s walk and has a 200-acre reservoir and an impressive 100ft dam, the largest game fishing in west Wales. This is a beautiful woodland setting with a delightful nature trail for both walkers and cyclists, and an 8-mile perimeter trail providing fine views and a variety of wildlife including badgers, foxes and otters. The broadleaf woodland provides a breeding site for sparrowhawk, buzzard and woodpecker, whilst the lake attracts uncommon water bird species such as little gull and black tern.
