With the stunning Dales landscapes right on your doorstep, this terraced property, part of a barn conversion, is a great place to relax and enjoy country living, with the famous Settle-Carlisle Railway starting just a short drive away. The villages, towns and cities of Settle, Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale, Skipton, Leeds, Ribblehead, Dent, Garsdale and Appleby can easily be reached in the car or on the railway line. The cycling and walking opportunities are endless and there are a number of country pubs and award-winning restaurants all within a short distance. The local farm shop is also just a mile away, selling organic vegetables and local produce, and also has a coffee shop. Ingleton is always well worth a visit for its incredible scenery, impressive woodland waterfalls and stunning show caves. A great place to stay all year round!

St Margaret’s Church is a beautiful holiday home located just 3 miles from the popular town of Ingleton. The accommodation offers you a high end luxury and alternative stay.
Walking through the church doors you are met with a spacious, cleverly designed, open plan layout. The ground floor offers two seating areas, a well-equipped, modern kitchen, dining area and downstairs shower room. Located just 1 mile from Clapham, Newby Cotes is a charming village with a rich history as a Kendal-to-Skipton thoroughfare. The Old Sawmill Café, housed in a former sawmill, offers a unique historical setting. Nearby, the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail leads to the renowned Ingleborough Cave. Cyclists frequent the Croft Café, and local shops showcase crafts and knitting. The trail also unveils Trow Gill, Gaping Gill, limestone pavements, and Ingleborough’s summit. Ingleton Waterfall trail at Ingleton is also within driving distance and Kirkby Lonsdale, a quirky market town, is just over the Cumbria border. Burton in Lonsdale nestles on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Burton has been called both ’the first and last village in Yorkshire’, tucked into the hillside above the River Greta, and at the cusp of the county boundaries of both Lancashire and Cumbria. There are a number of amenities all within walking distance, including a village shop run by the community, children’s park, and the picturesque All Saints Church.
Burton in Lonsdale is a short drive away from Ingleton, where you will find the infamous Ingleborough Cave, Ingleton Waterfall and an outdoor swimming pool. Ingleton is another beautiful Yorkshire village boasting some unique shops, bars and restaurants.
A short drive in the other direction will take you to the small, but perfectly formed, market town of Kirkby Lonsdale. The town is notably home to the 14th century Devil’s Bridge, as well as Ruskin’s View, which inspired a painting by artist JMW Turner in 1822. It is becoming increasingly popular for it’s independent shops, and you will be spoilt for choice for places to dine out. Burton in Lonsdale is perfectly placed between the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Parks, making it a perfect base to all that the area has to offer.
