Although the bungalow itself is quite rural, you are just a few minutes’ drive into the centre of the village where there is a pub and shop, around 5 miles is the nearest town of Buxton which has many independent shops, cafeé, and a variety of restaurants plus the opera house, which has shows on weekly, and the Pavillion Gardens which are lovely to walk around. There are other towns close to Gretna such as Leek, Ashbourne, Bakewell and the Chatsworth Estate. If you are an avid walker, you will be spoilt for choice, step outside the property and immediately be surrounded by the rolling hills offering endless countryside walks, if you prefer to follow a trail and cycle route you are just a small number of miles from the High Peak Trail which is relatively flat and has pub and ice cream stops on route.
    As you arrive at Gretna you will find ample parking down the driveway for all guests’ cars. As you arrive there is ample parking and you are greeted by the vast fields that surround this home. The property itself is very traditional with original features and space. On the ground floor is the fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook your favourite meals during your stay with a dining table to seat all guests, there is also a back door leading out to the rear garden.
