This detached barn conversion, close to the owners’ home, has its own secluded, patio style Mediterranean garden, with a BBQ to the rear. It has a large entrance hallway with storage and a drying area for boots and coats. The open-plan living area is bright and airy, and has a door off the kitchen leading to the private patio. There is also outdoor undercover space for storing bikes.
Linkinhorne is a small, pretty hamlet just a few miles out of the town of Callington, nestling in the Lynher valley below Bodmin Moor. This part of Cornwall is an unspoilt, hidden rural area quite often missed off the tourist map. This is a great location for exploring a wide region of Cornwall being central to both the south and north coastline. Beach 20 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 1.5 miles away.

These pet friendly holiday barns are situated less than half a mile from the stunning north coast of Cornwall. The access is via a typical Cornish narrow road with beautiful scenic views of the sea peeping out through the hedgerow on approach.
In the heart of this small Cornish hamlet, the barns (refs 30108, 30109, 30110 and 30111) are furnished and fitted to provide a comfortable base from which to explore the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer. Each barn has a well-equipped kitchen as well as open-plan living. Each has its own sitting-out area, which is ideal for watching the wildlife and al fresco dining. Each property also has access to electric car charging points which a charge for use however if you require using the charging points you must bring your own lead. There are no local amenities as it is in a hamlet, but only a 5 minute car journey to the local village; we suggest you look at the welcome folder in the cottage to familiarise yourself to your surroundings and to discover what amenities are local to your stay.
This barn has the private use of a hot tub, but please note the first night the temperature may not of quite reached it’s optimal temperature due to the replenishment of fresh water post cleaning the tub. Each property has access to the enclosed garden with picnic tables and sea view.
Guests are close to the coastal path and if you walk north, you will reach Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur, with its array of shops, pubs and restaurants. A little further on, Boscastle with its picturesque harbour is a must. A small beach can be reached on foot, approximately ½ mile away. Travelling down the coast, guests will come to Port Isaac, where the TV series ’Doc Martin’ is filmed, and further down the coast, visit the beautiful sandy surfing beach at Polzeath and the dunes at Rock where you can take a ferry across to Padstow. From Padstow, with its working harbour, shops, pubs and restaurants, you can hire bikes and cycle the Camel Trail to Wadebridge and beyond to Bodmin.
Close by is Bodmin Moor, unspoilt moorland at its best, and for walkers the tors on the moor are a must. Further down the coast is Newquay, with its famous surfing beaches, Blue Reef Aquarium and Zoo and if you travel to the south coast, you will find Looe, Fowey and Mevagissey, just a few of the charming coastal villages. For cycling enthusiasts, there is a cycle hub at Lanhydrock, with some wonderful forest routes to be taken. Shop, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.

Caerkief Farm comprises Babes Cottage(ref 27592), Hollies Cottage (ref 27593), The Lookout (ref UK30950) and Meadows Edge (ref UK30951) which offer charming and characterful holiday accommodation in a tranquil, rural setting. The cottages are restored from period farm buildings and retain beamed ceilings in the living areas and original stone walls. They share 2-acre of grounds along with a recreation area and barbecue facilities. Set at the end of a quiet, unmade lane, yet within easy reach of Goonhavern village and the town of Perranporth, the cottages enjoy delightful panoramic views over an undulating landscape.
This is the perfect location for those seeking a peaceful holiday in unspoilt Cornish countryside, with miles of beautiful country walks, yet only 2 miles from Perranporth with its large surfing beach and golf course.
