The local public house is nestled in The Square and serves local ales and good pub grub all year round. Rosevine beach is dog friendly throughout the year and is just to the east of the village. It has beautiful golden sands and is over looked by the increasingly famous Hidden Hut.     This lovely family friendly cottage offers a wonderful holiday experience of staying in a period property yet offers modern living accommodation. As you enter the cottage the size and warmth of the dual aspect living room reveals itself with a variety of seating opportunities, ideal for watching the TV or sitting in front of the wood burner. Also on the ground floor is a lovely kitchen and dining room where you can either enjoy breakfast or an evening meal sat around the farmhouse table. Arranged over the first floor are the three bedrooms starting with the character master bedroom set to the front of the cottage with a kingsize bed, wooden flooring storage space and a feature fireplace. The second bedroom is also a character room again with a feature fireplace. This room can also be used either twin beds or zip and linked to create a super kingsize bed, and the third is arranged as an ample character twin room. Staying on the first floor is a modern twist of a period bathroom with a roll top slipper bath, lovely after a long day at the beach. Next to the bathroom is a separate single shower room fitted with a rain style shower. To the rear of the property is the fully enclosed level garden with a lawn area ideal for children or a dog to play. Set at the back of the garden is a sunny paved patio area with a variety of seating perfect for dining catching the sun or having a barbecue. The parking for this cottage is either at the front on the pavement street parking to the side road with gate access to the garden or across the road opposite the cottage in a public car park.
    Located on the west of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula a few miles north of St Mawes, St Just-in-Roesland. It is a verdant village of manicured gardens and pretty cottages leading down to the woodlands and creeks by the Percuil River. The village is best known for the 13th century church of St Just the Martyr. Overlooking St Just Pool, a tree lined creek, the church is set in an amphitheatre like graveyard filled with an array of colourful sub-tropical plants and shrubs, a botanical project started over 100 years ago.
    Nearby you can explore the D-Day embarkation points at Turnaware Bar and nearby the recently renovated Smugglers Cottage part of the Tregothnan Estate. It is also is one of the best spots in the area for a cream tea! The walks around Messack Point on the north side of St Just in Roseland Creek offer some of the finest views across the Carrick Roads. Few places in Cornwall can compare with the Roseland Peninsula, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt parts of the British Isles. Lovely beaches and cliffs delightful rivers and countryside pretty villages and hamlets all make the Roseland the perfect holiday setting.
