Kingfisher is a detached, single-storey cottage, sleeping six guests, The Lodge is set over two floors and sleeps four guests, and Mole is semi-detached and also sleeps four guests. The cottages have their own enclosed, lawned garden with sitting-out area and views across the beautiful grounds. There are two well-stocked coarse fishing lakes at Riverton which are included in the price of your stay, as well as a third beautiful lake (members only).
If you are not fishing, there is still plenty to do in this lovely part of Devon. Located just outside the regional town of Barnstaple, the cottages are in an ideal location to explore this stunning part of the British Isles. A few miles away, you have access to some of the best beaches in the country including Woolacombe and Saunton. The nearest beach at Instow is ideal for children or just a great place to walk off life’s stresses, and then enjoy a meal or drink at one of the pubs and restaurants along the front. Access by car is easy to Eggesford Forest (10 miles towards Exeter), with the local country pub just a bit further along the A377 where you can have lunch before a walk in the woods. If you like a round of golf, more locally is Libbaton Golf Club at High Bickington, just 3 miles away, where anyone can have a game along with a beer or two and a meal.
The amazing accommodation on offer comprises four bedrooms on the first floor; two with lovely en-suites and all with Smart TVs. Good days out include Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and the Lynton to Lynmouth cliff railway. At Croyde and Woolacombe you will find some of the best and cleanest surf beaches in the country as well as many smaller coves and bays.
