This reverse level accommodation offers three stylish bedrooms where you can look forward to sinking into either the super kingsize bed or one of the kingsize beds after a long day at the beach. There is also the flexibility to adapt two beds into singles upon request.
Start your morning with the ease of knowing you can enjoy one of the two en-suite shower rooms or family bathroom so everyone can take their time. As you go upstairs you will be blown away with the open plan living accommodation where you can open the bi-fold doors letting in an abundance of light. Outside on the balcony there is ample seating perfect for socializing together. Before retiring for the evening, you can jump into the 6 seater Jacuzzi or enjoy the enclosed sun-trap garden where guests can relax and unwind.
Westward Ho! beach, just a short stroll away, has everything you need from rock pooling, surfing or flying kites, and the village itself has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafés and amusements. Nearby, Bideford provides both a pannier and open-air market and from the pretty quay you can enjoy a trip to Lundy Island on the famous Oldenburg. Other attractions in the area include the fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly, Instow, Hartland Abbey, Tapeley Park, The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Royal North Devon Golf Club and dog friendly beaches. If you still have enough energy after exploring the area why not use the private access from the resort to enjoy the amazing views across over the South West Coast Path and walks across the Burrows.

Appledore is a small fishing village, on the North Devon coast, with a long history of sea-farers. Shipbuilding is still carried out today in Appledore Shipyards, a brilliant place to explore a bit of maritime history. The village, stretched along the river, is small with attractive walks along the quay and towards Bideford or Westward Ho!. Car parking is available in pay car parks, although these get busy during the summer months.

The property is situated on the first floor of a crescent overlooking the marina. Brixham centre is a few minute’s leisurely walk along the harbour to where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located.

Roundham Heights overlooks the sandy beach at Goodrington with a degree of peace and tranquillity, whilst retaining the benefits of this central location in Torbay. Goodrington beach and its attractions are a 2-minute walk, while Paignton harbour, beach and town centre, where the local shops, restaurants and attractions are located, are a 5 to 10-minute walk.

7 Roundham Heights is the top floor penthouse with lift access, providing a spectacular view from the living room, main bedroom, conservatory and huge rooftop decking area. The apartment has a private entrance on the second floor as well as a designated parking space at the front of the property. Please be aware that there is scaffolding up around the property to allow for external work to be carried out. Scaffolding due to come down end of April. Free Wi-Fi is also available.

Thatcher Avenue is located in an exclusive area of Torquay, which is within easy reach of Meadfoot Beach. The centre of Torquay and the picturesque harbour are a short drive away. Torquay is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the South West and exudes a fantastic cosmopolitan buzz. Dotted around the harbour there are plenty of bars and cafés where you can sit and simply watch the world go by. For a great day out you can catch the ferry across to the historic fishing town of Brixham. There you will find a number of beaches, restaurants and cafés.

The seaside towns of Paignton and Torquay are 40 minutes’ drive, and it is just a 15-minute drive to the yachting haven of Dartmouth, and the coastline between Dartmouth and Kingsbridge, both 7 miles away, has many stunning beaches, hidden coves and fantastic coastal walks.

Guests of these cottages can also enjoy a range of on-site facilities suitable for all the family, including a heated indoor swimming pool (available via a booking system) with a private changing room and shower. There is a large games room set over two floors, including a fitness room with a cross trainer, treadmill, rowing machine and exercise bike. The top floor of the games room has a full-size American pool table, big sofa and Sky TV. The bottom floor has table tennis and table football. On-site there is also a laundry and ironing room. If you are looking for adventure and an adrenalin rush, then Wheeldon Farm Cottages will not disappoint. The Wheeldon Off-Road Centre, adjacent to the cottages, boasts a purpose-built, 30,000 square foot indoor arena (split in separate halves for motorbikes and bicycles) and junior training circuit, and is the ideal year-round venue for the whole family to learn to ride a motorcycle in a fun and controlled environment. Discounted rates are available for children and adults during the school holidays (booking by arrangement and on arrival), providing children and adults with the opportunity to experience the ultimate, two-wheel off-road adventure for the first time. The instructors at Wheeldon Farm are all ACU accredited and will guide the children through their paces every step of the way. In addition to all the motorbike fun, a range of other activities can also be organised locally, including horse riding, golf, go-karting and trout and carp fishing. Also, clay pigeon shooting, air rifle and archery are available - these are run by a fully qualified instructor and all equipment is provided. The activities run on a Monday, Thursday and Sunday. Prices will be charged accordingly when bookings are made. Please note, extra activities and catering requests must be pre-booked with Wheeldon Farm Cottages prior to guests’ arrival at the site. The Tithe Barn, built in 1602, has character, charm, and has been decorated and furnished for today’s living. Comprising a lovely contemporary kitchen, with Rayburn and electric hob and oven, pine flooring and central island, and three spacious bedrooms, one with Juliet balcony. Guests have use of a full hard tennis court, by prior arrangement only, and have a lovely private enclosed garden with table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining.

The Tithe Barn is 10 minutes from the city of Exeter, the University Exeter Campus, and the world famous 13th-century catherdral. Tithe Barn is ideal for visiting Killerton House, which has a glorious landscaped garden which is surrounded by parkland, a fine 18th-century house with renowned historical fashion collections, with wide open parkland, a garden full of trees from around the globe and classic woodland. Try the 6 walks around the estate, where you might even spot some deer grazing. There are also many rural walks around Huxham without the need to get into your car.

With Dartmoor within easy reach, the popular south coast nearby and the rural countryside of East Devon on the doorstep, The Tithe Barn makes an ideal base for exploring some of Devon’s finest scenery.
