Exmouth’s two-mile sandy beach on the Jurassic coastline offers excellent water sports facilities and the beach links to the Southwest Coastal Path and the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail. From November to February, the Exe Estuary is home for some 20,000 migratory birds and the red sandstone cliffs of Orcombe Point at the eastern end of the beach are designated the gateway to the World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
