    Situated in mid Somerset in the village of Baltonsborough, these converted barns (refs UKC2869 and UKC2870) are situated on a working farm, down a no-through road in an area surrounded by open countryside offering far-reaching, panoramic views. These semi-detached barn conversions offer open-plan living spaces with exposed beams, flagstone floors, wood burner and underfloor heating, and there are large glazed doors which open out onto a courtyard. This accommodation is in an area with numerous footpaths and bridleways across open countryside, ideal for walking, cycling and relaxing.

    The properties make an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. Visit Glastonbury Abbey with its ruins, Glastonbury Tor, the village of Street, which is home to a designer shopping outlet, and the cathedral city of Wells with its Bishops Palace and gardens. Bath, a World Heritage Site, has plenty of interesting architecture to explore, as well as a large selection of shops and restaurants. The town of Bruton is also worth a visit, and offers the Hauser and Wirth Gallery and Arts Centre. For the golf enthusiasts, there are courses within easy reach.

    Lyme Regis and West Bay, part of the Jurassic Coast, provide coastal walks, fishing, boating and fossil hunting. Wildlife enthusiasts will find plenty of nature reserves nearby, including Avalon Marshes, Ham Wall, Westhay and Shapwich Heath. Other attractions within easy reach include Dunster Castle, Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), Haynes Motor Museum, the Fleet Air Arm Museum and many National Trust properties such as Barrington Court, Lytes Cary, Stourhead, Dyrham Park and Forde Abbey.     Part of a complex of four converted farm buildings, all offering their own unique characteristics. Each property has its own individual outdoor space, with dedicated hot tub. All properties also benefit from shared use of the tennis court on site.


    Applebarn (ref UK10654) features stunning open plan downstairs living space and provides comfortable accommodation upstairs in two bedrooms for up to 4 adults, plus 2 children. Note that the bunk beds are not suitable for adults.


    The Farmhouse (ref UK10655) provides accommodation for up to 8 people in four bedroom and features log burners and a games room equipped with pool table and games console.


    The Dairy (UK38051) is beautiful cosy two-bedroom holiday home for up to 5 guests featuring a double-sided wood burner between the kitchen and lounge. It also features a games room with games console.

    Guests can enjoy their own walled/fenced garden areas for entertaining outside, with the added bonus of use of your own hot tub and shared use of the on-site tennis court.


    Please note total privacy in the garden areas is not possible due to the location of properties in relation to each other on the site and the hot tub may not be fully up to the recommend temperature on the first night of your stay due to the need to empty and clean between guests.

Cheddar Gorge, Britain’s largest limestone ravine gouged through the Mendips, is a magnet for climbers, walkers and visitors to the floodlit caves and Cheddar Reservoir is a great place to take a picnic, look out for wildlife and join in activities such as sailing and angling. Axbridge is a charming market town with a medieval square and half-timbered buildings, whilst Wookey Hole attracts many visitors to the showcaves. Wells is England’s smallest city set around a cathedral; Wedmore is a lively town with many individual shops and eateries, Glastonbury is famous for its music festival, spiritual culture and King Arthur legends, and the coastal resorts and magnificent beaches at Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Berrow and Brean are all within a short drive, as are the cities of Bath and Bristol.     Built in 2023, Brook Cottage is a very well presented detached cottage set within the owners’ gated grounds. The bright and airy cottage has an open plan living/dining/kitchen with a Smart TV, dining table and in the kitchen area, everything you’ll need for your stay. There’s an adjacent utility area with a washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. On the first floor you’ll find the two bedrooms, one with zip and link super kingsize bed which can be twin beds on request, and the second with a kingsize bed. Outside and to the rear is a large private patio garden which is fully enclosed, perfect for dogs to run around freely in (but please keep them on leads when not in this area).     Within a 10-minute drive you have Blue Anchor beach, a wonderful dog friendly beach with café, the town of Watchet with its harbour and local shops and pubs, or the seaside resort of Minehead which has many shops, restaurants and a beach. The village of Washford is under a mile away with its lovely local Inn. Whilst in Minehead, why not jump on the West Somerset Steam Railway which weaves its way along the north Somerset coast through to the countryside town of Bishops Lydeard. Exmoor National Park, with its dark star gazing skies, is within easy reach being under 2 miles away, and has many quaint hamlets and villages to explore, miles of moors, superb scenery and the famous wild Exmoor ponies.     When you arrive at The Malthouse a heavy oak door leads you into the original cart-way. From the cart-way, go down into the lower ground floor utility room, here you will find an extra fridge, washer and dryer. Also just off the original cart-way is a bedroom with a bathroom adjacent. A spacious open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is stylish and handmade with all the modern appliances you’d expect. The dining area has a large, impressive Bath stone fireplace in front of the long pine dining table. The owners just ask that you take care whilst you experience living in a historic house! The property is in an outstanding location. The city of Bath needs no introduction and is a 15-minute drive (or catch the bus from the village).

    Located on a working Organic farm, Feltham’s Cottage (ref UK42324) and The Organic Cabin (UK42325) are both surrounded by nature, and you can interact with the farm as much or as little as you like. Ideal for children, as you can roam across the owners 22 acres of land, play in the haystacks in the barn, climb the tree house and also help feed the animals. You can relax outside in your private area looking onto the pond, or take a splash in the owner’s natural pool which is fed by soft rainwater, kept clean by hornwort plants that oxygenate the water, this is available all year round.
    Feltham’s Cottage has an open-plan living/dining room where you can play retro board games like Scrabble or Monopoly and cards. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, whilst upstairs are two bedrooms and a toilet/sink. The owners favour environmentally sustainable upcycled furniture and seasonal food, so everything you receive from them will be locally sourced, and where possible organic. A welcome hamper is provided, and includes seasonal produce, usually local cider, milk, tea, and coffee. It all depends on what is available.
    With beautiful rural views of the Blackmore Vale, Horsington is a quiet Somerset village. Close by there is Pevlings Riding School, Sherborne with its 1000-year-old abbey, the contemporary art gallery Hauser & Wirth in Bruton, and mythical Glastonbury is just 30 minutes’ away.
