To the rear of the property is an east facing, private enclosed garden which is not overlooked, mainly paved and with mature borders with shrubs and flowers. There is an outside tap next to the side door perfect for washing muddy boots after a day exploring, and a driveway to the front providing off road parking for up to three vehicles.
At 300 metres above sea level, this spa town in Derbyshire is the highest elevated English market town. On the borders of Cheshire and Staffordshire, Buxton is described as ‘the gateway to the Peak District National Park’. It’s home to Poole’s Cavern, an extensive limestone cave open to the public, and St Ann’s Well, fed by the geothermal spring sold worldwide by Buxton Mineral Water Company. Also in town is Buxton Opera House, which hosts several annual festivals. There is a vast array of restaurants, pubs and bars to be enjoyed, all within walking distance.
