    The surrounding area holds a whole host of attractions including the ever popular honeypot village of Castleton, just 10 minutes away. Hathersage, also 10 minutes, is a larger village with a wealth of facilities including an open-air heated swimming pool in the summer months. The market town of Bakewell, home to the magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, can be reached in just 20 minutes, and the spa town of Buxton is a similar distance. For outdoor enthusiasts, being surrounded by National Park countryside means there are numerous tracks, trails and footpaths offering cycling and walks from Bradwell, and the start of the Pennine Way is at nearby Edale.
