The famous 18-hole Bowood Park golf course, regarded as one of the south west’s premier parkland courses, is nearby, as is Camelford Leisure Centre offering a 20m indoor swimming pool and fitness Studio. The start of the exquisite Camel Trail can be found at Wenford Bridge (10 minute drive). The pretty fishing villages of Padstow, Port Isaac and Rock are also a must to visit and mystical Tintagel with the legendary King Arthur’s Castle is just 15 minutes’ drive. For a great day out Camel Creek Family Theme Park, the famous Eden Project, and the wild beauty of Dartmoor and Bodmin moors are all within easy driving distance. Whether surfing, walking the coastal path, cycling, playing golf, fishing or simply relaxing, this stunning location has something for everyone.
