Sennen, the UK's most westerly village, is home to a beautiful white-sand beach with a mile-long stretch of sand. The village has its own surf school, which is located right next to a hip beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the stunning views and excellent surfing conditions. There are rumours that the Old Success Inn's covered well has a secret passage leading to it. Sennen was once a hotbed of smuggling activity. With a gallery, mediaeval church, Iron Age fort, and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachwear and souvenirs as well as a wide variety of groceries, this lovely village has an undeniably timeless appeal.
