A spacious and beautifully presented cottage set in the heart of the village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which is possibly the most popular destination for visitors in the Cotswolds. It is only 300 yards from the centre of town, yet it enjoys a charming and tranquil setting that a family of all ages and tastes will enjoy. You will be spoilt for choice with two sitting rooms joined in the middle by a contemporary dining room comfortably sitting eight. Well cottage is a great choice for family and friends congregating to enjoy the fantastic facilities that the house has to offer. On the first floor you will find four well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a super-king-size double bedroom en-suite with a stylish bath and separate shower. A second super-king bedroom en-suite with bath and with shower over (please note that this bedroom is accessed through the single bedroom), a twin bedroom, which can be made up as a third super-king, and a single bedroom, both serviced by a family bathroom with shower, basin and WC. To the rear there is a large stunning lawned garden with a patio offering a superb spot for alfresco dining during those balmy summer months. If you can tear yourself away from this superb base, a short stroll will bring you to the centre of the village, where you will find a superb choice of pubs, restaurants and shops to explore. Treat your group to a meal out at The Rose Tree Restaurant, which is just a short stroll from the doorstep, or perhaps pick up a takeaway to enjoy back at the cottage before a family film night. History buffs will be in their element in this fantastic village, with the Cotswolds Motoring Museum and The Model Village within easy reach, you can spend an afternoon discovering a time gone by. If you life to get out and about in nature, you will not be left short for routes within Bourton-On-The-Water and the surrounding towns and villages; Birdland Park and Gardens provides a tranquil day of wandering manicured gardens and bird-watchers will be delighted to discover over 500 types of birds in the area. Venturing a little further afield, you will be able to enjoy some of the most beautiful towns and villages that the Cotswolds has to offer, including Lower Slaughter, Stow-on-the Wold, Burford and the historic city of Oxford, which can be reached in about 40 minutes.     Bourton-On-The-Water is a historic village situated in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village hosts a many Grade II listed buildings and a range of stunning architecture. Bourton-on-the-Water is affectionately known as the Venice in the Cotswolds due to the River Windrush running alongside the charming high street, where several low stone bridges span. The village is home to a plethora of attractions including The Model Village, Cotswold Motor Museum, Birdland Park and Gardens as well as a Dragonfly Maze and plenty of eclectic shops, pubs cafés and restaurants.
