Step outside to admire the last of the sun on the patio or to burn off the last of your dog's energy in the two acres of paddocks. When the evening draws to a close head inside to wash off the day in either the ground-floor shower room or the first-floor bathroom before retiring to one of five well-appointed bedrooms; choose from a king-size with en-suite, two king-sizes and two ground-floor king-sizes. The Collingwood Arms, a country inn renowned for its excellent beer and food, and a post office/shop that stocks most essentials, characterise the town. The Heritage Coast of Northumberland is easily accessible from Cornhill and features historic castles, miles of beautiful sandy beaches with views of the North Sea, and an abundance of flora and fauna in the dunes. Visitors can easily explore the area's rich history by driving to Alnwick to see the Norman Castle, garden, and unique poison garden.
