There are ten dog-friendly bedrooms on the ground floor for easy outside access. Every room is individually styled and designed so that no two are the same, with gorgeous soft furnishings, plump cushions and quirky furniture. Rooms have flawless attention to detail and homely charm as well as the most spectacular views over the South Downs. Many of the luxurious rooms have special features, including four-poster beds, private gardens, balconies, gorgeous views, roll-top baths and spa baths. Dogs are provided with a welcome package which includes a bed, water bowl and food.

Dine with Your Dog
You can choose to dine with your dog in the Great Hall or leave your pooch in the bedroom while you dine in one of three award-winning restaurants — The Pass, The Camellia and Botanica. The Pass restaurant has been awarded 3AA rosettes and you'll be seated in the kitchen watching the drama and creations of Head Chef, Tom Kemble and his team unfold before you. The Camellia has its own unique style in creating balanced, contemporary interpretations of traditional seasonal dishes. Jonathan Spiers, the head chef in Botanica meanwhile, draws on the South Downs as a larder for fresh and seasonal ingredients. Although not totally vegetarian, the menu features a plethora of plant-based plates including their standout dish, the undeniably delicious Wasted Burger.
