The South West Coast Path offers beautiful walks and provides outstanding clifftop vistas, whilst the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan and unique Biomed Eden Project are must-visits. To the north lies Charlestown, timeless and with its small fleet of tall ships, a popular location for many films and TV series. There are some excellent restaurants here and the Shipwreck Museum. The town of St. Austell has many amenities and shops, along with many visual links to the once incredible mining industry here, whilst inland the town of Bodmin, with its chilling jail experience and heritage railway await you.
