It is ideal for a special occasion, with space for everyone and benefits from a fabulous south facing stone walled garden. Ideally placed a couple of minutes’ walk from the beach and the village with a choice of pubs and restaurants. Upstairs has four double bedrooms all with their own bathroom and have hardwood shutters and black out blinds to ensure a good nights' sleep. Bedroom 2 with King size bed and en suite shower room to the front of the property. Bedroom 3 with King size bed and en suite shower room at the back of the property. Bedroom 4 with two single beds and en suite shower room at the back of the property. Bedroom 5 with two single beds with exclusive use of the family bathroom next door with bath, separate shower, WC, basin and heated towel rail at the front of the property Downstairs is a fabulous south facing kitchen / diner / sitting room with a huge oak dining table seating 10 guests, huge atrium and floor to ceiling Solarlux bifold doors which bring views of the south facing garden straight into the house, flooding it with natural light and a cosy sitting area with log burner. The downstairs also benefits from two additional sitting rooms, both with log burners and views over the village green, the castle and beyond. Sited off the kitchen is a utility room. Additionally, there is a bathroom with shower to get rid of sand after a day on the beach. The fifth bedroom is also located off the kitchen / diner, furnished in a more traditional style with lovely views over the garden. The large south facing garden has also been fitted out. Step out of the bifold doors straight onto a huge terrace which has been tiled with wood affect ceramic tiles to match those indoors, making it a perfect spot for al fresco dining using the barbecue or watching the children play. The garden is mainly laid to lawn and south facing with stone walling all around giving it tranquillity and privacy and making it a perfect sun trap. It has two separate seating areas, one for morning sun, the other for evening sun.

The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.
