Along the coast, the popular Ilfracombe is worth a visit, home to an aquarium and Tunnels beaches, the iconic, picture-perfect spot for sunbathing in the warmer months. A walkers and hikers paradise dubbed “the walking capital of Exmoor’, Lynton’s position within the National Park means you are able to walk straight from the front door of Potters Cottage, with access to several miles of footpaths and tracks. Explore the Moors, find the South West Coast path or the Tarka Trail, or stop in Lynton and Lynmouth to reward your exertions with a tasty lunch or dinner at the many varied dog friendly eateries.
