The village of Coverack is often very peaceful with the sheltered beach being a great spot for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking, and the local shops, pub and restaurants making for a charming evening out. Penmarth House is resting on the Lizard Peninsula, just a short drive from Lizard Point, which offers stunning coves and beaches, rare geology and plants, wonderful sea views and windswept cliffs, and scenic walking trails along the South West Coast Path. Nearby, the market town of Helston is home to the exciting Flambards Theme Park and is known for its known for its Flora Day Festival, whilst in Gweek you can enjoy the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.
