Overview

Resting in the centre of Amble, less than a mile from the beach and all the amenities and attractions the town has to offer, is Pebble Cove, a beautifully presented, end-terrace cottage. Its central location makes this property an ideal base for a couple or small family wanting to explore Northumberland coastline and magnificent national park. The property offers a welcoming living/dining room, stylishly decorated with laminate floor, an eye-catching print rug, lovely dining area for enjoying family meals and two inviting sofas you can relax onto at the end of a busy day, enjoying your favourite show on the wall-mounted Smart TV. The newly fitted kitchen offers a full range of appliances, sleek units and worktops, plus ample space to prepare ingredients for delicious family dinners, while the back door leads onto an enclosed courtyard garden, where you can sit out in the sunshine and enjoy a morning coffee or alfresco breakfast at the beginning of your day. When the evening draws to a close, make your way up the carpeted staircase to discover two wonderful bedrooms; a king-size double with wall-mounted Smart TV, dressing table and chest of drawers, and a unique twin layout with hanging space for your belongings, both of which share use of the stylish family bathroom, which offers bath and shower over, so you can choose how you would like to prepare for each day. Get to know your location and head into the centre of Amble, which boasts some wonderful coastal attractions, including a marina, harbour and stunning sandy beaches, as well as coastal walks that encompass scenic views. The quayside is home to a weekly market and Harbour Village, a collection of independent shops selling food and drink, arts and crafts and more. The town offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, where you can enjoy freshly caught seafood and enjoy a well-deserved night off from cooking. Head to the RPSB reserve of Coquet Island to discover puffins, terns and eider ducks, and take a boat ride around the island to see it from a unique perspective, while wildlife lovers will also relish the chance to explore the Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and birdwatching opportunities are prominent at Druridge Bay. The coastal village of Alnmouth offers a charming day out, with miles of wonderful beaches backed by sand dunes, as well as rivers for fishing, golf courses and a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. The town of Alnwick is slightly further afield, with its recognisable Medieval castle, surrounded by incredible landscaped gardens, which has featured in the Harry Potter film series, as well as being within reach of the Northumberland National Park, Kielderhead National Nature Reserve and Kielder Forest Park, all of which boast a plethora of walking and cycling trails through rolling hills and enchanting forest. Walk the Hadrian's Wall, which encompasses Housesteads Roman Fort, the idyllic Sycamore Gap viewing point and Cawfield Quarry, before reaching the iconic remnants of the Ancient Roman wall. Pebble Cove is well placed for discovering a wealth of coastal and countryside Northumberland attractions.
