Overview

Northern Byre is a delightful, four-bedroom barn conversion nestled in the charming village of Sopley, Hampshire. Perfect for pet-owners, this contemporary and homely abode offers a relaxing escape for families, friends and couples wanting to explore both local amenities and attractions, and those near the Southeast coastline, whilst also a car journey from the New Forest National Park. Park up, unload your belongings, and head indoors, to firstly reach the stylish kitchen/diner, with state-of-the-art appliances and a lofty dining table on offer, to cater all eight guests. Prepare and enjoy mealtimes together, with a second kitchen area available for additional space and storage and a handy utility to store away your walking gear. If the weather allows, dine upon the private patio and relish in an alfresco affair, before enjoying an indulgent soak in the hot tub. End the evening curled up in front of the woodburning stove, with plenty of plush seating to sink into, before sloping off to sleep in one of the four bedrooms; select between a double and a twin on the ground floor, and a double and a twin upstairs. The home is complete with two sleek shower rooms, offering convenience for all, and a snug, the perfect nook for some peace and quiet with a good book. Awaken for a dog walk across the private field, which adjoins the Avon River pathway, before heading into the village for a bite to eat, or to stock up on some local produce from the nearby farm shop; Sopley Mill is also nearby, a wonderful wedding venue, making Northern Byre a perfect base for guests. Take a trip to the historic town of Christchurch, known for its impressive Priory Church, Norman House, and riverside setting, where you’ll also find a hub of amenities, or don your walking boots to traverse the national park. Venture to the seaside town of Bournemouth, and discover its stunning sandy beaches, interesting historical attractions, and vibrant nightlife; take a stroll around the pier for some excellent shopping, or head up to the clifftops for some stunning views.
