    Location

    Directions
The picturesque Pendle Hill and the Forest of Bowland AONB separate this huge, picturesque community in the Ribble Valley of Lancashire. The Whalley Viaduct and the magnificent gatehouse of the abbey remains from the 14th century are only two of the many works of exceptional architecture on exhibit at Whalley. A golf course is located just outside of the village, and there are several different types of stores and bars to choose from. Clitheroe and Burnley are two of the nearest and more popular market towns, and they each provide a wide variety of unique shops, pubs, and historic buildings to visit. If you're in the mood for a more classic day at the beach, you may easily drive to Blackpool on the west coast.
