The name ‘Mountain Edge’ comes from the fact the Long Mynd translated means long mountain and the resort is on the edge of that.

Just a five-minute drive away, the historic market town of Church Stretton, known as ‘Little Switzerland,’ boasts stunning natural beauty with the renowned Carding Mill Valley offering well-marked cross-country routes for hiking, horse riding, and mountain biking. The Long Mynd, rising above Church Stretton, is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts with its dog-friendly walking trails and guided tours.
