    Location

    Directions
The village of Melsonby is situated just a few miles to the north of the market town of Richmond. The village itself has a lovely old church, a real ale pub. There are footpaths and bridleways in every direction and fishing is available nearby. Richmond grew up around its castle set high above the River Swale, with panoramic river views. Within Richmond, narrow streets and alleys radiate from the cobbled Market Place and there are numerous pubs and restaurants to enjoy.
