A short drive away, picturesque Woodbridge is well worth a visit and is a great place to shop for antiques. Woodbridge also has a very popular dog walk around the River. You may also like to take a stroll along the beaches at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness, two well-known nearby coastal towns. Aldeburgh offers charming boutiques, restaurants and cafés and Thorpeness is a quirky seaside village built in the 1900s for people wanting to experience “life as it was when it was Merrie England”. For those who would like to take in a bit of shopping, Ipswich Waterfront offers great shops, restaurants and cafés.
