Jasmine Cottage has three bedrooms, one king-size, one double and one twin, on the first floor, each comfortably furnished with good storage and a wide selection of books for holiday reading. A family bathroom offers the choice of a bath or shower over with an attractive coral and white tiled design. The ground floor has a cosy sitting room with two leather sofas, luxurious chaise longue and a flat screen TV, the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day sightseeing. An attractive brick fireplace houses a woodburning stove. The kitchen has wooden units and rainbow feature tiling with a dining area seating six people, a lovely spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal, and a dresser packed with popular board games to play afterwards. There is a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room plus separate WC and wash basin. Outside, there is a terrace and a raised patio with table and chairs, so you can sit out and enjoy the afternoon sun with a refreshing glass of wine.(may not be suitable for young children) Off-road parking is available for two medium-sized cars, with a terraced garden at the front. You can walk to the River Dart from the cottage, with two riverside pubs within walking distance and wonderful river and country walks on your doorstep. Beaches at Slapton and Blackpool Sands are a short drive away and Woodlands Park provides fun for all the family whatever the weather. The nearby historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes offer plenty to do with Dartmouth Castle being an interesting place to visit, as well as boat trips, shops and cafes to enjoy. Jasmine Cottage is the ideal retreat for families and small groups of friends looking for a coastal location.
