Golfers can visit the excellent Anglesey Golf Club which is home to an 18-hole course offering some lovely scenery too, as well as the Holyhead Golf Club on Holy Island. Visit Holy Island for Trearddur Bay Beach which could be mistaken for southern France on a warm, sunny day, with white sands and clear waters, it's a popular spot for holidaymakers. Catch a ferry from Holyhead to Ireland for a fun-filled day trip to Dublin or simply begin an exploration of this small outcrop and head to the Breakwater Country Park which has some scenic trails, a fishing lake and is great for birdwatching.
