A small point. Before you arrive, be sure you have the access code to obtain the keys. PP need to send this to you. Also, you have your own access but parking is on the street and it is fairly narrow. We had no problem though.
Excellent location for doggie walks. Treats and pooh bags on arrival and starter pack of milk and eggs.Everything very clean and high spec, with an excellent instructions folder. Underfloor heating toasty warm. Good, big tv and comfy sofa for watching it. The bed was ace, roomy and soft. A couple of queries were answered promptly by the lovely owners. It was just as well it was comfy as the Devon weather let us down. Ideal location for Otterton and Exmouth beaches.
Budleigh Salterton is a lovely village on Devon's East Coast, situated near the mouth of the River Otter, where you can take a leisurely stroll or visit one of the local cafes. The River Otter creates a grazing marsh and reed bed that is extremely important to migratory birds, making it a wonderful spot for birdwatching. The seaside town is known for its maintained natural beauty, which includes a two-mile pebble beach with crystal-clear water for people who want to swim. Sit in the beach hut on the promenade to take in the landscape, or go down the high street to find a variety of charming cafes, boutiques, pubs, and a museum. The country lanes will thrill cyclists, providing peace away from the town's busier toads. The main train station also provides convenient access to both Paddington and Waterloo, making Budleigh Salterton a perfect base for everyone.
