Overview

This charming detached manor house is situated in acres of shared grounds, surrounded by woodland in the small town of Bethesda. Whatever the time of year, this retreat is a breathe of fresh air for families and friends to enjoy. Wander into the entrance hallway, boasting a twisted staircase and oozing with charm. A dining area is beautifully decorated and ideal for the whole family to socialise in the evening. Past the utility and cloakroom, you will be welcomed by a traditionally styled kitchen, home to a dining table and old church pews. After those home cooked meals, rest in the light and airy sun room, elevated by ceiling beams and a log burner. Not forgetting the secret bookcase door which leads to a fun-filled games room! A sitting room is perfect for relaxing in the evening, next to an open fire, with plenty of room to play those family board games. For an extra touch, a snug boasts a corner sofa so you can escape into your own world amongst the peace and quiet. On this floor you will also find a super king-size bedroom and a well appointed shower room. With more to see, the first floor hosts four well presented super king-size bedrooms; two complete with an en-suite. You will be spoilt for choice, with each room equally promising a peaceful nights sleep. If you are looking for somewhere to house the children, a family room holds two double beds, and another boasts triple bunks for your convenience. A stunning family bathroom is tied together with a Jacuzzi and exposed beams for all to benefit from. Finally, the gallery style lounge overlooks the kitchen below and is a signature feature of the cottage, with a games console for the kids to play. On a free afternoon you can make the most of the enclosed garden, where you can cosy up by the fire pit and enjoy the rural location or relax in the hot tub. The village of Bethesda offers a selection of shops and amenities, in particular a number of chapels and pubs. The beautiful mountainous scenery of Snowdonia border the village and Capel Curig, just ten miles away, is a popular centre for walking, climbing and mountain biking. There is much to explore in and around this picturesque location.
