Located on the banks of the River Beeble, this picturesque community is ideally situated for day trips to the seaside settlements that surround it. It's a great place to set up camp because there's a bar, a general store, a post office, and a highly regarded fish and chip joint St. Ives harbour is conveniently close by, and it is home to a small fishing fleet and a plethora of boat trips captained by enthusiastic locals eager to show off all that Cornwall has to offer, whether it be a visit to Seal Island for seal watching, a few hours of mackerel fishing, or a tranquil cruise to Godrevy Lighthouse. Paradise Park, a wildlife park with amazing parrots, otters, and red pandas, is located in Hayle, which is less than 10 kilometres away. All over the estuary and harbour area of Hayle, you'll find a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars. Hayle's three-mile stretch of golden sand beach is its crowning achievement, and Gwithian offers excellent surfing in addition to a surf shop, surfing lessons, and equipment rental. The Minack Theatre, Falmouth Marine Museum, Eden Project, St. Michael's Mount, and many other excellent tourist attractions are conveniently located near Praze-an-Beeble.
