Dine with Your Dog
You are welcome to dine with your dog in both the bar and the restaurant. The hotel offers great food and drinks in a warm, stylish and dog-friendly environment. The drinks cabinets are stocked with great gins, interesting wines and Tank Beer is the centre-piece of a diverse beer range. They embrace luxury comfort dishes across their food menus, so you'll find quality ingredients, classic dishes and a few gourmet twists and surprises along the way. Some of their great dishes include Lobster Mac & Cheese, Creamy Chicken, Leek & Smoked Bacon Pie or even silky Vanilla & Cranberry Creme br??lée. And don't miss out on Sunday lunch.

Comfortable stay and great location
Really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, spacious and comfy. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, a bit pricey but still very much enjoyed everything. Only a short walk in to the city centre which was great for shopping. Would love to stay again and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent 2 day stay. Staff very welcoming, helpful and attentive. Breakfast selection was good and well presented, especially enjoyed the Hollandaise sauce! Comfortable room. Bar and restaurant decor very sumptuous and cosy. Located about 25 minutes walk from station, pleasant stroll but not in the rain! Would be happy to stay again.
Excellent hotel but noisy
Staff and food excellent
Very noisy in room due to outside seating area so could not relax or sleep
Music in restaurant very loud especially when DJ started so unable to hear conversation

Location & Local Attractions
The hotel is right next to Bruntsfield Links with 35 acres of open parkland your dog will love. The Meadows is another lovely grassy space for your dog to play. You could also visit Pentland Hills — a fabulous place for a walk with the dog with 100km of waymarked routes that are suitable for all levels of fitness or if you are feeling energetic you could climb up to the top of Arthur's Seat for fabulous views of the city.
