Bailiffscourt Hotel and Spa offers 39 dog-friendly bedrooms across the main house, thatched houses and cottages. Bailiffscout was originally created as a grand holiday home for Walter Guinness whose architect searched the country for original stone, woodwork, windows and fireplaces in order to create this stunning country house. Now a privately owned hotel, Bailiffscourt has been lovingly restored. Full of character and charm, this impressive house even boasts an inner rose-clad courtyard and underground passageway. Wonderfully positioned just a five-minute walk away from Climping Beach, your dog is free to roam at any time of year on one of the most natural, unspoilt beaches in West Sussex. This is heaven for coastal loving pups!

There are 30-acres of private grounds teeming with wildlife, including the hotel's own resident peacocks. All Bailiffscourt’s 39 bedrooms and suites are dog-friendly although the hotel recommends the ground floor rooms for easy access. For a special occasion choose the Baylies Suite with its stunning vaulted ceiling and four-poster bed. It also offers a fabulous bathroom with large walk-in shower and twin roll-top baths. All the Feature rooms have oversized four-poster beds, as well as some of the Sussex and Climping Original. For a more modern style choose the newer Climping rooms. Expect fluffy dressing gowns and complimentary tea and coffee in every room.
