Overview

Resting in the town of Bradford-on-Avon in a peaceful residential cul-de-sac is this end-of-terrace property, 16 Mythern Meadow. Sleeping up to four guests and within a short walk of the River Avon and surrounding countryside, 16 Mythern Meadown is a splendid setting to explore all that North Somerset and Wiltshire has to offer, within easy reach of Bath and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Discover one sought-after off-road parking space with further parking opposite, before entering the property into a porch way, where you can leave your coats or shoes, ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy for your stay. Moving through the property, there is a lovely sitting room which makes a homely setting for you to enjoy some popcorn and a movie with your loved ones, after a long day of exploring. Finishing the ground floor layout is a kitchen/diner, which has a cheerful dining room table, seating all guests, where you can enjoy an evening meal, lovingly made in the kitchen area. This has all the amenities to assist you in your self-catering requirements, as well as a handy washing machine to take care of any muddy clothes after long countryside walks. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with countryside views, a built-in wardrobe for your belongings and a large mirror, so you can get ready in style. There is also a further double room for guests to escape to at the end of the day, as well as a bathroom offering a flexible choice between an indulging bath or a refreshing shower. Outside, there is an enclosed garden to the rear with a lawn where your four-legged friend can play, as well as a seating area where you can indulge in a glass of wine under the stars. Bradford-on-Avon is a historic former mill town, which makes for a picturesque setting, beside the River Avon and Kennett and Avon Canal, which offers scenic boat trips on the impressive 65-foot Barbara McLellan boat. The area is thriving with beautiful walks and cycling trails, either around the surrounding countryside or with a stroll through the historic town centre. It also offers a great range of high-end restaurants, as well as more informal dining, for when you fancy an evening off from cooking. Bradford-on-Avon is home to Tithe Barn, a 14th century stone property with an incredible timber roof and original beams, which is well worth the visit, as is the Barton Farm Country Park, a delightful location for waterside walks. Also be sure to browse the many craft shops, stopping off for a sweet treat at The Bridge Tea Rooms. Within a short drive is the stunning city of Bath, which offers striking Georgian architecture, the popular Roman Baths and the wonderful abbey, as well as ample opportunities to eat out or indulge in a bit of retail therapy. Further afield is the 13th century village of Lacock, with its gorgeous abbey and numerous gastro pubs, which make for a great stop off on your way to discovering the gorgeous village of Castle Combe. For a magical trip to Wiltshire, choose 16 Mythern Meadow.
