Further afield you have the Vale of Avalon, Glastonbury with its quirky shops and ancient Tor, head to Wookey Hole Caves and try to spot the Wookey Witch or over to Cheddar with its famous gorge. The beautiful larger city of Bath is reached in around 45 minutes and is a wonderful spot to spend the day, stroll along the river, shop in one of the boutiques or head to the amazing thermal spa for a pamper treat!
