Winchester, Southampton with its shopping centre and the New Forest with extensive heathland walks, riding and cycling opportunities are approximately 40 minutes away. Historic Chichester with its cathedral and festival theatre, the city of Winchester, beaches at West Witterings or Hayling Island, the Watercress steam train, Jane Austens’ House, Gilbert White’s house and Birdworld, Marwell Zoo and Peppa Pig World are all easily reached.
