    Unusually set on the owners farm, where there are eight private camping pitches, Oswald’s Rest is set to the side in its own setting with a secluded private garden. The owners have pedigree poll Dorset sheep which they show as well as a herd of Aberdeen Angus cattle.
    Set on St Oswald’s Way you can do some of the walk which stretches 97 miles from Hadrian’s Wall across rolling hills and coastline taking in castles and stunning scenery and ending up at Holy Island a little further up the coast. Only a mile from the sweeping beach and cliffside castle in Bamburgh, this popular and much photographed village in North Northumberland has a dramatic fortress castle overlooking this glorious and most photographed stretch of stunning coastline in Northumberland. Bamburgh is a stunningly attractive small village set on the northern stretch of the Northumberland Coast, dominated by the magnificently striking castle that can be seen for miles around, giving the whole village a somewhat dramatic feeling.
