In a slightly elevated position, Suncroft is a detached property set on the perimeter of the village and has large lawned gardens to four sides with a choice of two sitting areas to maximise the sun. It is an easy stroll to the large sandy beach, quaint bespoke shops, friendly pubs and tearooms and a pretty riverside. You can leave the car behind and enjoy a lovely meal and drink in one of the local pubs. Warkworth Castle sits at the top of the village and the old 13th-century church make fine backdrops in this popular village. From Warkworth it is easy to explore the whole of the Heritage Coastline taking in the many friendly unspoilt villages along the way. Stop at one of the glorious sandy beaches or drop into Craster for some famous Craster kippers. Don’t miss a trip over to Holy Island, checking the tide for the causeway times.
