Tucked away at the end of an unmade lane completely surrounded by woodland and countryside, the cottage’s location is perfect for nature lovers. The area is famous for its natural sandy beaches, numerous National Trust properties, stately homes, RSPB birdwatching spots and outstanding nature reserves.

    The living room has a traditional open fire, comfy chairs and a snug leading off. During the winter months, guests can enjoy nights by the fire or the baby grand piano! There is a large dining room with a woodburner and is ideal for enjoying family meals. The kitchen with pine table at one end caters for larger families and groups. Visit Cley Marshes, Titchwell Marsh and Snettisham Nature Reserves, and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, which is only a 15-minute drive from the cottage. There are plenty of historical places to visit, with Sandringham Estate, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall all within easy reach. The Norfolk Coastal Path stretches for miles and there are many delightful cycle rides, including Peddars Way, which passes to the west of the cottage through Harpley, Docking and Sedgeford to Hunstanton, where it joins the Norfolk Coastal Path.
