Within 5 minutes of the glorious sandy beaches and easy reach of the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, these four extremely comfortable cottages form a small select group overlooking a central courtyard and enjoying shared use of a heated indoor swimming pool and children’s play area. Set in 4 acres of beautiful mature gardens they offer the ideal location for a relaxing holiday and for touring the coast and wolds. There is excellent coarse fishing just 300 yards away and golf (handicap required) is available at the well-known Seacroft links golf course and Northshore (no handicap), which are both nearby. Within easy reach are the famous Battle of Britain Aircraft Museum and the East Kirby Lancaster Museum, RSPB Gibraltar Point, NT Gunby Hall, Snipedale Nature Reserve and Forest, and the historical city of Lincoln with its cathedral, castle and excellent shopping. Antique hunting can be enjoyed at Horncastle 18 miles away, and Louth offers a lovely traditional market town. Skegness and Ingoldmells with its seaside attractions, is just 2 miles. These 5 holiday cabins, each with furnished verandah for dining al fresco, are located 7 miles from Boston, and 20 miles from Skegness. They are situated just outside the small village of Old Leake where there are two pubs, a supermarket and a children’s play area. The site is ½ mile from the A52 with a regular bus service to Boston and Skegness.
Sheepgate Equestrian Centre is 2 miles away, where National Dressage competitions are held. The local RSPB reserve at Freiston Shore is 5 miles away, whilst Leverton village to the south has a café, supermarket and pub.
There are many country lanes around the site which are ideal for walking and cycling. The cabins overlook an established fishing lake (permit provided), however, guests will also be required to have their own Environment Agency fishing license. Shop ¾ mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a luxury barn conversion set on the edge of the pretty village of Oasby. It is part of the owner’s grass and arable farm and they have a great interest in wildlife and conservation. All visitors are welcome to access all the farm. It is an ideal base from which to explore the area. Numerous walks and cycle routes are close at hand and a lovely country pub, with fine real ales and delicious food, is only a 5-minute stroll away.

For those wishing to explore further afield, Stamford, Lincoln, Newark and Uppingham offer castles, museums, antique centres and numerous pubs and restaurants. Those interested in WWII can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby, and the newly completed Bomber Command at Lincoln.

There are numerous golf courses nearby including the National Golf centre at Woodhall Spa. Rutland Water offers various water sports throughout the year, and the circular track around the reservoir provides easy walking and cycling for all ages, with bikes available for hire. Oasby is also home to the British Eventing Oasby Horse Trials, which takes place twice a year on the farm, attracting world class riders to the event.

Shops are available 3 miles away, and there are several pubs in the locality offering a range of meals. The owners are happy for visitors to the cottage to bring their horses and/or ponies. We can provide grazing and plenty of maps for horse riding.

A great property situated in a fantastic location that offers guests the chance to explore all that Lincolnshire has to offer. The Nook is set over two floors; with a well equipped kitchen, cosy living room complete with wood burner, bathroom and two good sized bedrooms situated downstairs. Upstairs, you will find two further bedrooms and another family bathroom. Outside you will find the perfect entertaining area with a drop down table/bar which come complete with a sink and fridge!
There is plenty to see and do for all the family in the area, with the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards on the beach, which is well worth a visit. The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is just along the coast, as is Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells with its huge funfair and market. Gibraltar Point nature reserve is approximately a 30-minute drive away to the south of Skegness, and inland there are the market towns of Alford, Louth and Horncastle to explore. Furthermore, enjoy a day out on the coast visiting the traditional seaside resort of Mablethorpe, travel inland to explore the Lincolnshire Wolds or enjoy some motor racing at Cadwell Park. Lincoln makes a great day out with its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta visitor centre. Shop, pub and restaurant all within 1 mile.

Visit the Boston Stump or travel to Horncastle for its numerous antique and collectibles shops to browse. WWII enthusiasts can visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby and enjoy watching the Lancaster Bomber ’Just Jane’ doing taxi runs at Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby about 15 minutes drive away.

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is within walking distance and is well known for its unspoilt coastline that runs southwards from the edge of Skegness to the mouth of the Wash. The impressive views along with the sheer scale and diversity of wildlife makes it well worth visiting at all times of the year. There is also a visitor centre and café for refreshment.
Skegness is a fantastic traditional seaside resort and has something for all the family to enjoy from its funfair, amusements, aquarium and award winning sandy beaches to its range of restaurants, bars and nightlife. Watching the Banger racing is sure to make for a fun family day out and in the summer you can enjoy a donkey ride along the beach. An 18-hole links golf course is also within a mile.
Alternatively head inland to the rolling Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Natural Beauty, and explore the market towns of Louth, Market Rasen and Horncastle. Enjoy the motor racing at Cadwell Park, the horse racing at Market Rasen or even a day out in the City of Lincoln, famous for its Cathedral and Castle. Enjoying a rural location on the edge of the owners farm there are lovely walks straight from the door with the nearby nature reserve offering many miles of peaceful walks. Beach 1 mile. Enjoy a day out at the traditional seaside resort of Skegness 14 miles to the east with its sandy beaches, amusements and fun fair for all the family. To the west 5 miles away is the market town of Horncastle, well known for its many antique and collectables shops. Cadwell Park Race Circuit near Louth is approximately 20 minutes’ drive and the city of Lincoln, well known for its cathedral and castle is approximately 35 minutes’ drive. Explore the castle or enjoy shopping on the High Street. The area around the Wharf has many good restaurants and bars to sit outside and watch the world go by on the water. On your return sit back and relax in the hot tub or stroll to the village pub for refreshment. There are many good walks and cycle routes throughout the area and from the door. Beach 15 miles. Set in the grounds of the owner’s pub which also has a touring site, this semi-detached holiday property is ideal as a touring base for exploring the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, which is next door, home to Just Jane Lancaster Bomber. The cottage is located behind the public house, but a nice distance away to keep disturbance down. Food is served in the pub every day 5-8pm, and live music and karaoke are held on a regular basis.
The traditional seaside resort of Skegness is 25 minutes away, or why not go inland to the Lincolnshire Wolds, where you can explore the Wolds villages and enjoy refreshment in the countryside pubs. The Georgian market town of Louth is about a 25 minute drive away, and Horncastle, which boasts, many antique shops is only 15 minutes away. There are good walks from the door, as well as good cycle routes throughout the area, and after a day exploring, the village pub is just 50 yds away for food and drink. Beach 17 miles.
