    This superbly restored, former estate stone cottage offers excellent terraced holiday accommodation in the heart of the village of Brantingham opposite the picturesque village pond and green. It has modern internal features, including high speed fibre broadband, a bespoke kitchen, feature brick barbecue, patio furniture and sun umbrella for an al fresco meal, wood burning stove and an oak staircase, leading to galleried landing with a desk and views of the village green. It has quality oak furniture, and furnishings created with the help of an interior designer. The property also has special lighting, underfloor heating downstairs and in the bathroom, and provides a lovely base to explore the area from or simply relax in.     This lovely ground floor conversion of a Grade II listed, former station master’s house provides an amazing location for the perfect Yorkshire coastal holiday. The station was designed by Rawlins Gould and opened on the 28th March 1864, closing 100 years later, on 19th October 1964, following the Beeching cuts. The property has been tastefully restored and enjoys some sea views from both bedrooms, and the twin bedroom has a 24" Freeview TV and DVD player.
    The sandy beaches are about 200 yards away, and there is a boat compound with launching facilities for boats, ribs and jetskis giving access to the sea. It is centrally located in the unspoilt seaside town of Hornsea, known as ’Lakeland by the Sea’, due to the presence in the town of Yorkshire’s largest natural freshwater lake, Hornsea Mere. Not only is the property close to the beach and promenade with its cafés and fish and chip shops, but it is also a short level stroll from the heritage town centre with its museum, shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and public parks, making it an ideal base for those wanting to relax and enjoy the area. Within just a few hundred yards of Station House you will find an indoor soft play facility and Hornsea’s main leisure centre, which offers an indoor heated swimming pool, gym, café and other facilities. Hornsea is also the finishing point for the Trans Pennine Way; from your doorstep you can cycle or walk through the town and out into open countryside on these wonderful, largely level, maintained leisure trails.     Built in 1696, this terraced holiday home is oozing with character and charm, and has been tastefully decorated and furnished, using a contemporary mix of new, vintage and up-cycled furniture and fittings. Nell’s Cottage is situated in the popular old town of Bridlington, which was made famous by the film ‘Dad’s Army’. The property used to be a sweet shop and boasts a delightful private terraced area to the rear, which is great for socialising and an al fresco supper in the summer.

    The property is set back from the old town of Bridlington which used to be two separate towns, but over the years it has now joined to make one. Most visitors go straight to the seafront, but there is also a beautiful cosmopolitan part of the old town. The main street has lots of little independent shops and galleries, as well as good restaurants and local pubs. At the far end of the main street, you reach the Priory Church, one of Bridlington’s hidden gems. For over 900 years, this church has been serving the people of Bridlington and is renowned for its excellent choir and musical events that are held throughout the year. The Bayle Museum dates back to the 12th-century and is situated just in front of the Priory Church. This used to be the gatehouse to the Priory and is now a fantastic museum.

    The seaside resort of Bridlington is a bustling fishing harbour, with lots to see and do. It has been popular over the years with families, due to its large sandy beaches and the traditional seaside donkeys, sticks of rock and sandcastles. On an evening why not enjoy a night at the popular Bridlington Spa, host to lots of international acts. From the seafront you can catch the land train to Sewerby Hall, just a short ride along the clifftops which is always a favourite with children. Sewerby Hall is just one of many stately homes in the area. A free Sewerby Hall family pass (2 adults/2 children) is available to Nell’s guests during their stay. You can walk to Bempton Cliffs from the cottages, or it is a 5-minute drive.

    Enjoying delightful countryside and a peaceful village setting close to the east coast, this charming cottage has been converted, along with two other holiday homes, from former stables and a hayloft.

    A warm welcome awaits as you drive into what was the old farmyard. The cottage, along with Puffin Cottage and Guillemot Cottage, encompass the square, each with its own patio; a real sun trap and sheltered from the weather. The freedom to wander up into the shared gardens where there’s a children’s slide and outdoor games will appeal to those with children. There is also access to a football playing field, meadow walk and outside willow dome seating area.
