    These stylish barn conversions are adjacent to the owners’ home and farm and are wonderfully located near the book town of Hay On Wye, famous for its literary festival held every May. There are a good range of country pubs nearby which guests can walk to, and enjoy food and a drink. For guests looking to be more active there are stunning walks onto Hay Bluff, The Begwyns and the The Black Mountains. Further afield there is the city of Hereford which offers a range of shops and restaurants. Originally constructed as part of the Norman invasion of Wales, Hay Castle is a medieval site which offers guests a fascinating day out.
    Badgers Den (UK32084), is a comfortable one storey barn conversion set all on one level. The living room includes comfortable seating with a double sofa bed offering flexible sleeping at the property. The bedroom sleeps two with a super kingsize bed for your comfort, along with an en-suite wet room. There is a decked area to the front of the property with garden furniture.
    Gooses Roost (UK32096), is also all on one level and the super kingsize bed also has the option to be two single beds. Horsecroft (UK37462) is a detached barn conversion and features 3 zip and link super kingsize beds which can be twin beds on request, giving greater flexibility for couples or children.

    Cromwell House is situated in Winforton just 6 miles from the literary town of Hay-on-Wye and is full of fabulous artwork and luxury throughout. Hay-on-Wye, with its renowned festival every year, is definitely the place to be for those who love books, art and quirky shops, as well as lots of pubs and restaurants. Those looking to explore the open countryside can enjoy walks from the door and there are fabulous views of Hay Bluff from the bedrooms of Cromwell House.
    The town of Hereford is 15 miles away with its cathedral to explore, which is also the location for the famous Mappa Mundi and Chained Library exhibition. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants. The historic town of Brecon is 22 miles from the property and has an array of coffee shops, art galleries, and much more; the regimental museum is also worth a visit. Those in search of adventure can head to Pen Y Fan and take in the breathtaking views of the rolling countryside.
    Cromwell House has an open plan living space; the living area has a cosy open fire you can curl up in front of and watch a film or sport on the Smart TV, which offers Sky and Netflix. Patio doors lead out onto the enclosed lawned garden from where you can admire views of the rolling hills of Hay Bluff whilst sitting in the egg chair! On the first floor is an office space with a Mac computer, and two bedrooms (one kingsize and one double), each with fitted wardrobes and views over Hay Bluff.     The Old Bakehouse is a 16th century half-timbered cottage, part of the larger Wythall manor house and estate, set in idyllic grounds with woodland, freshwater lake, and award-winning vineyards. There is an abundance of wildlife from owls to badgers, kites to deer - something for everyone to enjoy.

    The Old Bakehouse is full of character and charm and has some fabulous beams running through the property with beautiful leaded windows. The large garden has a freshwater lake, providing the tranquil, relaxing sound of running water, lawned area with garden furniture; great for simply enjoying the sounds of the resident wildlife. With walks, such as the Wye Valley Walk, to be had from your doorstep, you can stroll through the woodlands and make your way to the award winning vineyards where the owners produce their own wine.     Once you have finished exploring the grounds of this wonderful estate, come back to the property and relax in the open plan living space. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs within a short driving distance from the location. Located near to Ross on Wye there are plenty of things to keep you entertained should you wish to venture from this lovely location.

    Beyond your beautiful abode is a plethora of wonderful places to visit; within a short drive are Hereford and Gloucester, and about an hour’s drive are The Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Ludlow, and Cardiff. When visiting Ross-on-Wye, no trip would be complete without a visit to Symonds Yat, a magical
    spot on the River Wye just 2 miles from The Old Bakehouse. Start at the top of the rock for panoramic views and breath-taking scenery. Stroll down through the woodland to reach the water’s edge to enjoy a yummy pub lunch. If you don’t have your own canoe or kayak, why not hire one and paddle your way down the Wye?
