Yew Tree Cottage is a large thatched property with wooden beams throughout. The living room has a wood burner for cosy evenings in and there is a well equipped kitchen. There is a wonderful spiral staircase leading from the dining room upstairs or there are more traditional stairs from the living room. The property has very low ceilings, door frames and beams, and due to the quirky nature of the property, to get from the kitchen/diner to the downstairs bathroom you have to either go outside and enter into the bedroom door or go up and then down some internal stairs, therefore it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Outside is a spacious garden for you to enjoy.

    Farnham is a small village with a pub a short walk away, and Larmer Tree Gardens is only a short drive away, well worth a visit to wander around the beautiful gardens. You can also visit the National Trust sites of Kingston Lacy House, Hod Hill and the White Mill. Dorset Heavy Horse Farm is a wonderful family day out where you can feed the animals or enjoy a ride in a horse drawn carriage.
