The South West coastal path and the Tarka Trail are superb for walking or running and the latter is excellent for cycling too; the coastline is varied, dramatic and interesting to say the least. RHS Rosemoor, Marwood Gardens, Arlington Court, Clovelly, Exmoor Zoo, the Combe Martin Dinosaur Park and Hartland Abbey are all within driving distance and for the keen golfers, Portmore Golf club just outside Barnstaple and Saunton Golf club are both within easy reach too.
