    Neaum Crag at Skelwith Bridge is conveniently located between Coniston and Ambleside, two of the most popular locations in the Lakes. Waterhead Pier runs ferries which can be taken to Bowness and Lakeside pier near Newby Bridge, Wray Castle, and Brockhole Visitor Centre. The coast is a very short drive away at Bardsea where you can enjoy the best ice cream around and walk for miles on the quiet beach.
    The town of Ulverston is packed with character from the markets and festivals to the independent shops that make up the high streets. So whether you want the high-end family butcher, the huge selection of freshly ground coffees or unique gifts, Ulverston has it all in walking distance of the property.
    There are some fabulous restaurants in the town with high Tripadvisor ratings. If you like Mexican food, there a great restaurant in the town, but be warned, you will need to book weeks in advance!
