Tennis, horse riding, mountain boarding, surfing and fishing are all on offer locally and the internationally acclaimed jazz festival is fantastic and not to be missed. This is a region steeped in legends of King Arthur, with the mystical ruins of a 12th-century castle at Tintagel and the historic coastal village of Boscastle each easily accessible. The picture-postcard village of Clovelly, with winding cobbled streets and quaint fishing harbour lies further north. The Eden Project is also within a short drive; a major attraction, the site promotes the symbiotic relationship between people, plants and natural resources, with three geodesic domes housing plants from around the world.
